About our Rattery and why you should choose an ARR rat
All Rat Rattery was established in April 2019 and are a member of URCSA (United Rodent Community of South Africa). We operate as a closed Rattery and do not allow members of the public into our Rattery unless you have been approved and placed on a waiting list to adopt our pups.
From time to time we will have rat pups available for adoption. We only adopt out pups in same sex pairs.
Prior to adopting our pups, you will receive a copy of the care pack and adoption agreement to read through to ensure that you have adequately prepared for the new arrivals.
If you choose rats from All Rat Rattery, you will be given step by step guidance on how to care for your new family members.
Our rats are well socialised, scatter fed dry mix daily and get a fresh meal once a week. We promote scatter feeding to encourage the natural foraging behaviour of rats which keeps them active throughout the day.
Any pups adopted from us may not be adopted out to a third person without the prior consent of All Rat Rattery and should be returned to us in the event that you are unable to adequately care for and/or accommodate them any longer - no questions asked and no judgement.
We will also care for your rats in the safety of our Rattery should you require us to when you go on vacation or business trips.
